Stuart Bloom, Ph.D., MFT, psychotherapist, marriage and family therapist

About Me
Dr. Stuart Bloom has been a psychotherapist in private practice for over 30 years.

Struggling with anxiety, depression, and grief can rob us of our self-esteem, power, effectiveness and joy. It can also negatively impact our relationship with self and others.

In his practice, Dr. Bloom assists adults and adolescents with managing and overcoming personal battles through individual, couples, family and group therapy.

He has been a faculty member of California State University Fullerton since 1976, teaching group therapy leadership and psychotherapy theories and techniques. Three times in his tenure, Dr. Bloom has received the award for "Most Inspirational Teacher".

Dr. Bloom has been an affiliate of the Midwest Center for Anxiety and Depression since 1996 and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

"I have come to believe that the relationship between the patient and therapist is the most important factor in the success of treatment. I provide my patients a safe, supportive and at times, challenging environment to reclaim their lives. I view psychotherapy as a sacred journey, a place for sharing joys, sorrows, fears, hopes and dreams.

At my Laguna Beach office, I offer a peaceful setting for learning the tools and techniques necessary on the journey towards greater freedom, better relationships, and healing. I would be honored to accompany you on this sacred journey."
